Kills background apps when you pull the phone from your pocket (not more frequently than 1 time in 15 minutes, but this is customizable). I added a free-up memory function which works if you have Droid Optimizer installed and you have put its widget on the desktop home page (the one showing the percent memory usage and which can be tapped to free-up memory).
