Keep a stack of selected text to be able to paste it later.

When text is selected/highlighted, select "automate flow".

Then choose "Copy content" or select one of the previous copied text to paste it instead of the selected text.

You can only paste over selected text.
If you select read-only text it will copy it without asking.

Some apps _block_ the *paste* action, when choosing text you want to paste instead of the selected text it goes to your clipboard as well, if the text is not replaced, you can juste use the system *paste* action like usual.
