📄Script ✅tester (REPL)

by Ricardo Fernández Serrata

Version 2 (December 23, 2020)

Download (6 downloads)

Detects updates of multiple shell script files, runs them and prints output on a notification. This is a REPL-based tester, with some debugging features. Has automatic halt/stop/kill for (accidentally) long-running scripts.

This is mostly recommended when you use a 3rd party text editor, not an Automate text editor. Remember to disable auto-save on your text editor of preference. Also use UTF-8 or ASCII.

I made this because I'm practicing/learning Android scripting using mostly Automate (Sometimes ADB Shell, Termux, or Terminal Emulator). So I needed a responsive AND automated thing that increases testing productivity.

If you want an Automate-based terminal, go here:

REPL stands for "Read, Eval, Print, Loop"
