This is for people with older or unsupported vehicles. You will still need Android Auto on your phone, but that goes without saying. 😃
Functionality:
When you plug in a power source, you'll get a pop-up asking if you're driving.
Click "Yes" to start Android Auto. Click "No" to ignore.
You can just manually close Android Auto after that.
