Lets you set a cpu mode may require root.There are 4 modes power save that makes your cpu run at the minimun speed, performance that makes your cpu run at the maximun speed, userspace that makes your cpu speed run at the speed that apps ask for and hotplug that makes your cpu speed at maximun if the threshold is exceeded, otherwise slowly scale with workload also disables cores when idle.
