A feature of Nugat 7+ is to set the phone to a "Do Not Disturb" mode during call. If getting notifications during calls are important for you, then this may be your solution.
This flow, checks for off hook call status every 20 seconds and disables the DnD mode if 'off hook = true', allowing you to know if you received notifications while in call.
