Some apps misbehave by staying in background after being run, sometimes also causing permanent data traffic.
Replacing the app start shortcut with one to this thread solves the problem: the app is started and after being quit it is killed.
Select your own app in three blocks of this flow.
Hint: use an app like Icon Changer Free to create a shortcut with the icon of the original app or any other.
