Send a message to a contact group as individual text messages (as opposed to a group text message). Select the account, then select a contact group within the account, then select the contacts/numbers from the group (all are selected by default, only mobile numbers are listed), then compose message and send.

Note: data2 is the field that determines number type. On my phone, a value of 2 is for mobile. I couldn't find any documentation to verify if this is standard or not. Please contact me if you can tell me any more about determining the number type from content queries.
