Wake LMS (aka Squeezebox, Squeezeserver) and play a playlist. I have one item in my playlist which is Radio 4. I use this to turn on the radio with one touch! It will also do wake-on-lan, then start your Squeezeserver controller app.
You will need to change many of the parameters to match your system, but if you look through the flowchart it should be easy to work out what to do.
