Never over charge your phone, just plug your charger into a smart socket that works with Ifttt.
This flow will turn on/off any smart socket connected via ifttt.
ON/OFF when battery level is below/above levels entered into config variable, in variable set block.
Go to https://ifttt.com/maker_webhooks, login and go to documentation to find your secret key.
Enter your ifttt maker secret key into config variable, in variable set block.
In Ifttt - Create 2 applets using ifttt maker webhooks.
If Maker Event "charger_on", then turn on name_of_smart_socket.
If Maker Event "charger_off", then turn off name_of_smart_socket.
Added second flow that that turns on/off socket and also sends notification to Alexa after charger socket is turned on
To enable Alexa notification, go to Alexa App and install Notify Me (blue icon with bell) follow instructions to get secret key. Add secret key in config variable in variable set block.
To disable Alexa Notification add "null" to config where it says add Notify secret key.
This second flow will work with out enabling Alexa Notify Me skill.
