I have a new flow called 'Ad-Bloc' which is pretty much this but automatic.. so I recommend you use that instead because a lot of time smashing your light sensor will be saved.
No Rooting or Premium required!
If you have a light sensor (usually next to the front camera (the camera usually used for taking selfies) then just run this to skip ads!
Press and hold the light sensor for a second or two in a moderately lit room then let go and ads will be skipped.
Use at your own risk!
