This simple flow will allow you to perform adb command over wifi.
When you are not using the ADB over Wi-Fi anymore, kill it by tapping on the notification and this flow will switch back your device to listen adb from usb.
Note-1: This flow will make your device listen to adb on port 5555.
Note-2: If your device can't or not listening adb from usb, simply restart your device and youe device should be able to listen to usb.
