Enable "enhanced 4G" on ASUS devices which helps enable support for VoLTE/VoWiFi on unsupported carriers.
The flow dials in the USSD code needed to activate the support, gives you two seconds to delete the extraneous character using the dialer's keypad, then bring up the WiFi calling settings screen to manually toggle support.
