Sometimes public networks (such as a University WiFi) don't work with privite DNS provider. With this simple script you can continue using your preferred private DNS unless when connected to the problematic WiFi.
PREREQUISITES AND INSTRUCTIONS:
1)Set a private dns from your settings:
-Go to Setting>Network and Internet>Private DNS
-Set private DNS provider hostname
-Insert the DNS provider of your choice: for example dns.adguard.com to have a goobal adblock
2) grant automate to edit secure system settings:
- execute this command from ABD
$ adb shell pm grant com.llamalab.automate android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
3)Enable Automate to automatically run at boot

- Peak the problematic WiFi network.
