This flow will quickly fix the bug where the recent apps button on the navigation bar becomes unresponsive when using 3rd party launchers on Pixel phones.
I have been having this problem on my pixel 6a using Nova launcher, and this is really the fastest way to fix it.
SETUP: Just accept the permissions. You can also set this as a home screen shortcut for easier access.
HOW IT WORKS: The fix is simple. It launches the Pixel Launcher and then presses the home button to go back to the default launcher (Nova in my case).
P.S. Personally I don't use this because I'd rather map a Nova swipe gesture to start the Pixel launcher activity and then manually press the home button, but this flow should help anyone facing this issue find this fix.
