This is just a toy, so it won’t provide perfectly accurate measurements. The noise threshold adjustment can be tricky, as it depends on the environment, the type of sound, and the microphone quality.

The best results I’ve had are using a metronome app while running this flowchart with the internal microphone:

In a quiet, echo-free space and with the right settings, you should get an estimate between 10 and 120 BPM.
