Addresses flip to glyph's flaw of blocking third-party app calls.
After flip to glyph is activated:
- Notifications will be silenced, no vibration, but will show up as glyph lights.
- Normal calls will go through.
- *Third-party app calls will go through*, after which flip to glyph will be disabled.
- Use do not disturb to silence all calls (not setting ringer to mute).
//Note 1
If flip to glyph is reactivated without unlocking the phone, the device will change into vibrate mode instead of silent mode.
The catch is that calls won't be silenced in silent mode, and won't vibrate only in vibrate mode. So, with this on, to silence calls, use do not disturb.
This automation has been tested on Nothing Phone 3a, for WhatsApp.
//Note 2
Setting ringer to mute will mute notifications and phone calls outside of flip to glyph. However, when flip to glyph is active, phone calls will still go through (hence, use do not disturb to reliably silence calls)
//Update (22/11)
Set to not run if do not disturb is active when using flip to glyph, so now the flow will not deactivate do not disturb when third party calls arrive
Introduced a block that checks if the phone is face down when a call arrives (to check if the phone is in the flip to glyph state).
