Force your device's orientation, even if the app doesn't want to rotate.
Tap the notification actions to change the current orientation between Default, Portrait & Landscape.
The direction of the orientation is still decided by sensors. For example, while in landscape mode, you can rotate your device to switch to reverse landscape mode.
CAUTION: Some apps (including some Android Launchers) may crash if they are forced into a position they don't support.
This flow works without the use of the Automate premium version.
