Multi-files choices and input dialogs game engine with external saves support; unlock premium sized stories for free with this [ 10 blocks ] flow !

Never edit a flow again to change the game story, never loose your progress because of conflicting data, never forget switching save files (when it ever was possible), never worry about stack size and incomprehensible crashes that could occur because of system limitations, ... never struggle again when you just want to play !

Designed with both players and creators in mind, this flow is easy to configure through JSON files that will get parsed and computed seamlessly to build variables and options under the hood during game play.

Quick setup

Example configuration gets created within startup file at "Android/data/com.llamalab.automate/files/dialogame.json" then gets split in multiple files, including a demo game with "continue from last save" and "missing room" dialogs, plus some variable computation and dynamic display.

New stories can easily be downloaded to the same (or sub)folder(s) and then loaded directly through the flow itself.

You will also get a quick launcher to start the demo with different save files, a custom-stories loader for the files you manually added, and a beta-stage story builder.

Important notes

This distributed version is not intended to be a full game as it is; you'll need to change the JSON configuration file (generated by this flow when starting) to change the behaviour and add more menus, more options, and some contents to the story 🙂

File system permissions are not required for this flow to work, as it only uses private Automate data files.
